Fedora 6 で、Firefox2 を動作させようと思ったら、次のようなエラーが発生しました。


$ /usr/local/firefox/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


こういうときは、yumで探すといいようです。compat-libstdc++-33.i386 が必要なことがわかりました。

# yum provides libstdc++.so.5
# yum install compat-libstdc++-33
