Raspberry Pi で rpi-update したら、Kernel 4.0 になりました。影響については「https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=113753」で話がされているようなので、気になる人は読んでみるといいでしょう。

Ubuntu 15.04 でも、Linux kernel 3.19ですから、Raspbianの方が追い越してしまいました。また、CentOS6, CentOS7 の Kernelについてバージョンを確認しましたが、それぞれ 2.6、3.10 でした。Raspbianが4.0を採用したということから、できるだけ最新の技術を取り込もうとしているということがわかりますね。追いかけるのが大変な気もしますが、こういうデバイスで新しいカーネルが使えるというのも楽しいですね。

ちなみに、今回は Gigastoneの32GB microSDカードを使ってみています。パッケージには、読み書きデータ転送速度が10MB/秒以上と書いてありました。(写真の奥の方。手前はTranscendのmicroSDカード）
型番がパッケージに書いてなかったのでわかりませんが、おそらく「Gigastone microSDHCカード 32GB Class10 5年保証 GJM10/32G 」です。秋葉原で1000円程度で購入したものです。Amazonより安く入手できたのはうれしいところです。使えなかったらPhantom2 Vision+のビデオ保存用のカードにしようと考えていたのですが、無事起動できたので、このままRaspbian用にしても良さそうです。
